По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

EEC Advisory Committee for Electrical Energy detailed "road map" for forming EAEU common electric power market

The roadmap of measures for forming a common electric power market (CEPM) in the Eurasian Economic Union's five countries was approved at the 13th meeting of the Advisory Committee for Electrical Energy. It clarifies and details interim stages of creating a common market. The Protocol of the event held in absentia due to measures to prevent spreading the coronavirus infection was signed by Emil Kaikiev, Member of the Board - EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure. Therefore, there is an ongoing work on forming the EAEU CEPM which should start functioning not later than January 1, 2025.

EAEU countries' governments instructed to have liberalization program for cabotage road transportation implemented

The summit of Heads of the Eurasian Economic Union States considered how the Liberalization Program for Cabotage Road Transportation of Goods within the EAEU Countries was being implemented. The Union countries' governments were instructed to have the activities contemplated by the third Program stage performed.

Last outstanding issues of the draft Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025 were considered at an extraordinary meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held on April 23 via video conferencing. The Intergovernmental Council has adopted the wording on three issues elaborated by members of the EEC Council on April 20 and 22. The remaining issue of tariff setting for gas transportation services in the EAEU common gas market will be addressed at the level of Heads of the Union States.​
