The Consultative
Board for cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and
Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia business community, which was established pursuant to
Decision No. 241. December 4, 2012 of the EEC Board to implement the
Memorandum of Interaction dd. June 15, 2002 between the EEC and the Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia
Business Dialogue, is a body responsible for the interaction between the EEC
and the business communities of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, with the
latter represented by the Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia Business Dialogue, on
systemic and strategic issues to function within the Customs Union (CU) and the
Single Economic Space (SES), as well as for consideration of proposals from the
business community aimed at improvement of the CU and SES legal framework, and
issues related to the organization and hosting of business forums of the
business communities from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
The
Consultative Board considers proposals from the business community aimed at
improvement of the CU and SES legal framework.
The
membership of the Consultative Board includes representatives of business
communities, industrial trade associations, public organizations, research
organizations and public authorities of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
In its activity,
the Consultative Board covers the following areas:
a) integration
and macroeconomics;
b) development
of enterprises;
c) financial
markets (banking, insurance, forex market, securities market);
d) industry;
e) agriculture;
f) mutual
and foreign trade;
g) technical
regulation;
h) sanitary,
veterinary and phytosanitary measures;
i) customs
administration;
j) energy
and natural monopolies;
k) transport
and infrastructure;
l) promotion
of competition and antitrust regulation;
m) protection
and enforcement of intellectual property rights and means of individualization
of goods, work and services.
