По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The current stage of the Eurasian Economic Integration as well as the prospects for further development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) were discussed by representatives of public authorities, business and expert circles and international organizations on June 16 at the Astana Economic Forum at the Session “25 years of the Eurasian Integration: from Idea to Implementation”. It was moderated by the Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tatyana Valovaya.

The Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Timur Zhaksylykov and the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The ceremony was held as part of the Astana Economic Forum on May 17.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) held consultations with representatives of state authorities and business community of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries to discuss the situation with one of the restrictions included in the “White Book” of the EAEU obstacles. This refers to the requirement of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation for the goods imported into the country to be already marked with the Customs Union conformity mark EAC (after the English - Eurasian Conformity).

Tigran Sargsyan spoke about the Commission’s activities, institutions and objectives of the Eurasian integration, the results achieved, which confirm the validity of the Union as a full-fledged subject of international law.
