The second meeting of the high-level working group on transboundary e-commerce was held. During the event, the sides reaffirmed their fundamental consent to form a systemic regulation of this new market. Following the discussion, it was decided to hold a separate meeting with potential foreign e-commerce operators from among the companies operating in the Union countries.

"The Commission is interested in the widest possible involvement of business in the issues we are considering today to ensure the greatest convenience for consumers in terms of delivery speed and easy registration of goods," mentioned Andrey Slepnev, Head of the working group and Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Trade of the EEC.
