Lists of standards to the technical regulation "Safety Requirements for Food Additives, Flavors and Auxiliary Substances" have been updated

The EEC Board has approved changes in the list of standards that contain research rules and methods required to apply and enforce the technical regulation "Safety Requirements for Food Additives, Flavors and Auxiliary Substances" and assess the conformity of subjects of technical regulation.

The list of standards has been augmented using a certified measuring technique, МВИ.МН 6028-2018 "Finding Weight Concentration of Sulfurous Acid (per SO2) in Gelatin," to be applied until the relevant interstate standard is put on the said list.

The deadlines for application of another two measuring techniques, already listed, have also been updated — МВИ.МН 806-98 "Finding Concentration of Sorbic and Benzoic Acids in Food Products Using the Method of Highly Efficient Liquid Chromatography" and МВИ.МН 3239-2009 "Finding β-Carotene in Specialized Food Products." From now on, they will be applied until relevant interstate standards are put on the list.
