По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

Decisions adopted by the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on mitigating restrictions on export of a number of goods, imposed earlier in the Eurasian Economic Union in light of spreading coronavirus infection, will come into force on May 10. Such mitigation affected the export of certain types of fabrics and disinfectants to third countries (relevant decisions of the EEC Board No. 59 and No. 60 had been published on the EAEU official legal portal on April 30, 2020).

On April 28, the EEC Board approved updated lists of goods for which Armenia and Kyrgyzstan apply import customs duty rates other than those specified in the Common Customs Tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union. Relevant overriding decisions were previously adopted at meetings of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the EEC Council held in December 2019 and January 2020. International treaties in this regard were signed on April 14.

Actually, the challenge is to shape efficient mechanisms for integrated legal regulation in this area. ​
