По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The Eurasian Economic Commission has identified focus areas of its activities in the sphere of competition protection and antitrust regulation. The EEC Board approved the draft of the relevant annual report at a meeting held on March 24 in Moscow. It will be published on the Eurasian Economic Union's website after its consideration by the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

EEC to conduct eight investigations in transboundary markets in 2020

The investigation will affect the markets of medical equipment and services, pharmaceuticals, retrieve services and video content placement on the Internet. This was discussed at a meeting of heads of antitrust (competition) authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union countries, chaired by Serik Zhumangarin, EEC Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation, held on February 28 at the Commission's headquarters in Moscow.

A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) was held on December 20 in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation). The meeting was attended by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, Nursultan Nazarbayev, First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Honorary Chairman of the SEEC, Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Igor Dodon, President of the Republic of Moldova – as the Head of the Observer State at the EAEU. The SEEC Members have considered the issues of further Eurasian integration development, common labour market, single market of services, functioning of the EAEU internal market, competition and energy. A Pension Agreement for Working Population of the EAEU Member States was signed, an action plan to be implemented before launching the EAEU common electric power market was approved, and a number of other important decisions on the Eurasian integration were adopted.
