По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

Issues of implementing the Main Directions and Stages of the Coordinated (Agreed) Transport Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the possibility of resuming passenger service by various modes of transport in the EAEU were discussed by attendees of the 18th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on October 21 via videoconferencing.

EEC drafts new road map for implementing transport policy in 2021-2023

The second meeting of the Working Group on elaborating the draft road map for 2021-2023 on implementing a coordinated (agreed) transport policy was held on 22-24 September under the chairmanship of Dauren Sabitov, Director of Transport and Infrastructure Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).

On September 3, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and the Commission's Ministers and Department Directors took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden in Moscow.

EEC reviewed draft new "road map" for implementing transport policy in 2021-2023

Some directions of further integration of the Eurasian Economic Union States in the transport sector were discussed by members of the working group on drafting "road map" for implementing the EAEU agreed (coordinated) transport policy. The meeting chaired by Dauren Sabitov, Director of the EEC Transport and Infrastructure Department, was held on August 26-27 via videoconferencing.

"Roadmap" for the harmonization of the legislation of the EAEU countries in the oil sector will be adopted by the end of 2020

At a meeting on August 27, members of the Advisory Committee on Oil and Gas under the EEC Board discussed the "road map" for harmonizing the legislation of the states of the Eurasian Economic Union in the oil sector. The parties agreed with the draft document and made an agreed decision on its further consideration at the EEC Council and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. It is planned that the document will be approved by the end of 2020.

EEC Advisory Committee for Electrical Energy detailed "road map" for forming EAEU common electric power market

The roadmap of measures for forming a common electric power market (CEPM) in the Eurasian Economic Union's five countries was approved at the 13th meeting of the Advisory Committee for Electrical Energy. It clarifies and details interim stages of creating a common market. The Protocol of the event held in absentia due to measures to prevent spreading the coronavirus infection was signed by Emil Kaikiev, Member of the Board - EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure. Therefore, there is an ongoing work on forming the EAEU CEPM which should start functioning not later than January 1, 2025.

EAEU countries' governments instructed to have liberalization program for cabotage road transportation implemented

The summit of Heads of the Eurasian Economic Union States considered how the Liberalization Program for Cabotage Road Transportation of Goods within the EAEU Countries was being implemented. The Union countries' governments were instructed to have the activities contemplated by the third Program stage performed.
