По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The application of prevention and warning mechanisms to ensure healthy competition in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has been made possible by changes introduced to the Treaty on the EAEU. The implementation of such mechanisms was discussed in detail at the meeting of the Public Information Office of the Competition and Antitrust Regulation Unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), held in Vitebsk. To strengthen cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and national competition authorities and to develop a program for mitigating punishment for violators of competition in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – these and other recommendations are contained in the expert review of the EAEU competition law, presented by the division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on competition law and consumer protection. The review presentation was a key event of the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy of UNCTAD, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
