По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

EEC proposed to equalize liability for distributing counterfeit goods in the EAEU countries

Sanctions for violations related to distribution of counterfeit products should be symmetrical in all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was stated by Karine Minasyan, Minister in charge of Internal Markets, Information Support, Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the International Forum "Anti-Counterfeiting" on November 12 in Yerevan (Republic of Armenia).

Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Zholymbet Baishev, President of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Grigory Rapota, State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Members of the EEC Board (Ministers) and representatives of scientific and expert community of the EAEU countries summed up the results of the Eurasian integration development at the research and practical conference "New dimension of Eurasian integration: results of the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union" held on November 11 in Moscow. Some important decisions were made in the spheres of trade cooperation, implementation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) digital agenda, interaction between the Union countries on cooperation in the jewelry and agricultural industry and a number of others during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) held on October 25 in Moscow (Russian Federation).

Problems and prospects of industrial cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and tools for developing interaction between entrepreneurs were discussed by participants of the Eurasian Industrial Congress “Integration”, held on October 15 in Moscow. The discussion was attended by Members of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The initiative to hold the Congress comes from business representatives of the Union States interested in increasing effective and productive cooperation and creating high-tech production associations demanded by the market.
