По оперативным данным объем внешней торговли товарами государств – членов Таможенного союза за январь-июнь 2012 г. составил 459,6 млрд. долларов США, в том числе экспорт – 302,9 млрд. долларов США, импорт – 156,7 млрд. долларов США. Стоимостной объем экспорта по сравнению с январем-июнем 2011 г. в текущих ценах увеличился на 9,7%, или на 26,9 млрд. долларов США, импорта – на 4,8%, или на 7,2 млрд. долларов США.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is interested in cooperation with think tanks. This was stated by Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on November 14 at the plenary session of the 1st Eurasian Analytical Forum "EAEU: experience, problems, development and security priorities", held in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation in Moscow. Science helps predict laws of development. From the perspective of forming and developing regional economic associations, exploring such laws is of paramount importance. Nowadays, there are about 50 regional economic associations.

The role of national institutes for standardization, metrology and accreditation of the States participating in the CIS Interstate Council on Standardization, Metrology and Certification (ISC), acting as national operators of systems in these spheres, should be increased, and the activities of scientific and technical commissions of the ISC and interstate technical committees should be transformed. This will enable improving the efficiency of their work and raising it to the level of similar working bodies of international and regional organizations. Such proposals were made by Viktor Nazarenko, Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), at the consultation of heads of national authorities for standardization, metrology, certification and accreditation of the CIS ISC held on November 13 in Shymkent (Republic of Kazakhstan).
