Artak Kamalyan

Biography

He was born on May 9, 1970.

In 1990, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Voronezh State Agrarian University named after K.D. Glinka.

In 2000, he received his higher doctorate degree in economics. He is the author of more than 140 scientific, teaching and methodological papers.

Since February 1, 2020 Artak Kamalyan is Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Prior to his appointment to the Commission, Artak Kadzhikovich served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia, and Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

The appointment of a representative of the Republic of Armenia was decided by the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union countries on December 20, 2019 at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council's meeting in St. Petersburg.
