Maksat Mamytkanov


He was born in 1971 in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 1993, he graduated with honors from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, specialty “Mining Engineer - Electrical Mechanician”, and in 2009 — from the Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, Faculty of Accounting, Analysis and Audit.

In 1997, he was called up for military service in the National Security structures of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2003, he had an internship at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2004, he received training at the IMF International Institute in Vienna, Austria.

From 2007 to 2010, he ran his own business.

From 2008 to 2010, he was Member of the Board of Directors of Akyl Invest-Bank, OJSC.

In 2010, he was appointed Security Director at Alfa-Telecom, CJSC.

In 2011, he founded the "Chon-Kazat" ("Great Campaign") political party and became a co-founder of the "Money & Power" newspaper.

From 2020 to 2021, he was Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Since June 30, 2021, by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, he was appointed Member of the Board — Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
