Sergey Shkliaev

He was born on May 4, 1976, in the village of Slavyanka, Khasan District, Primorye Territory, the Russian Federation.

In 2003, he graduated with honors from Russian Customs Academy specializing in Jurisprudence, and in 2025, he completed his postgraduate studies in Economics.

Since 1996, he has served in the customs authorities. He has held various positions, from Inspector of the Khasan Customs Office to Head of the Department of Trade Restrictions, Currency, and Export Control of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

On May 14, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service.

On March 23, 2026, by decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, he was appointed Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
