Lists of standards to technical regulation for motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil updated

At its meeting held on August 15, the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board updated the list of standards to the Customs Union's Technical Regulation "On requirements to motor and aviation gasoline, diesel and marine fuel, jet fuel and fuel oil".

Amendments to the lists of standards were prepared using the results of monitoring the adoption, application, updating and cancellation of standards included in the relevant lists of standards. The purpose of these amendments is to create conditions for applying up-to-date versions of standards and for a systematic transition from national standards to interstate ones as they are developed and enacted.

The updated lists of standards for the said technical regulation include 142 standards. These include 112 interstate standards, 22 of which were developed on the basis of ISO international standards;

14 national standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 7 of which were developed on the basis of ASTM regional standards; 5 state standards of the Republic of Belarus, 2 of which were developed on the basis of ISO international standards; and 11 national standards of the Russian Federation.

A transitional period has been set with regard to using the standards being replaced.
