Anti-Dumping Duty on Galvanized Rolled Products from China and Ukraine Extended Pending Re-Investigation
19.11.2024
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has extended the anti-dumping duty on galvanized rolled products originating from the PRC and Ukraine until September 1, 2025 inclusive.
The current measure was to expire on January 5, 2025. However, the EEC Department for Internal Market Protection received a request, which resulted in the repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated on September 2, 2024.
"The EAEU regulatory framework provides for extending the current anti-dumping measure for the period of repeated investigation which should be completed within 12 months from the date of its commencement," the EEC Trade Unit reminded.
The anti-dumping duty in respect of galvanized rolled products from the PRC and Ukraine is established in accordance with Decision No. 209 of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 3, 2019. The duty on rolled products from China ranges from 12.69 to 17% of the customs value depending on the manufacturer, and on rolled products from Ukraine — 23.9% of the customs value. In addition, Decision No. 209 approved the price obligations of a number of Chinese companies.
