Anti-dumping duty on welded pipes from PRC extended pending re-investigation
20.01.2026
The Eurasian Economic Commission's Board extended the anti-dumping duty on welded pipes, tubes and hollow sections made from corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel and originating from the People's Republic of China until November 12, 2026, inclusive.
The current measure was to expire on March 13, 2026. However, the EEC Department for Internal Market Protection received a request, which resulted in the repeated anti-dumping investigation initiated on November 13, 2025.
"The Eurasian Economic Union's regulatory framework envisages extending the current anti-dumping measure for the period of re-investigation which should be completed within 12 months from the date of its commencement," the EEC Trade Unit told.
The anti-dumping duty on welded pipes from the PRC was set in accordance with Decision No. 12 of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board dated February 9, 2021. The duty is 14.62% to 17.28% of the customs value depending on the manufacturer.
