Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board, extended his greetings to Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba and Head of the Observer State at the Eurasian Economic Union, and all the Cuban people on Independence Day.

"Cooperation between the EAEU countries and the Republic of Cuba has a solid foundation and high potential as it steadily strengthens in the interests of our peoples," the letter of greetings reads.

On behalf of the EEC and in his personal capacity, Bakytzhan Sagintayev wished Cuba well-being and prosperity.
