In 2026, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) celebrates 20 years since its founding. During this period, the Bank, the Eurasian Economic Union States, and the Commission have established an efficient mechanism of interaction aimed at supporting integration processes across the Eurasian space.
The attendees of the Annual Meeting and Business Forum have noted that formalizing relations between the parties, as well as their long-standing joint efforts, became an important driver for deepening the Eurasian economic integration.
Extensive work has been carried out during this period to analyze and evaluate investment projects focused on integration, prepare proposals for their financing, and assist in implementing such initiatives in the Eurasian “five” countries.
During the Forum’s business programme, it was noted that the EDB serves as a key financial partner for the Bank’s Member States, including the EAEU countries, by promoting their sustainable economic growth, expanding trade and economic ties, and advancing promising integration projects through investment activities.
The plenary session “Eurasia 2030+: Investment, Growth, and New Opportunities” discussed some issues related to enhancing the region’s competitiveness. They are primarily linked to the region’s structural transformation based on new technological solutions.
