Sergey Shkliaev, Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held a working meeting with Valery Pikalev, Head of the Federal Customs Service.

 

The attendees discussed relevant matters of further development of integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union, including the implementation of joint projects on digitalizing the customs administration procedures.

 

The key topic of the meeting was development of the EAEU transit potential, in particular, implementing the Agreement on the EAEU Unified System of Customs Transit, the use of navigation seals, establishing uniform requirements for arranging and equipping checkpoints, as well as regulating e-commerce.
