“This document is the result of extensive joint efforts and positive experience gained through cooperation over the past few years,” Bakytzhan Sagintayev emphasized at the signing ceremony.
In 2025, the parties successfully completed a similar five-year Plan. As Bakytzhan Sagintayev and Salvador Valdés Mesa noted, the new document aims not only to continue the expert dialogue but also to develop practical cooperation in a wide range of areas.
Following the event, the parties expressed confidence that implementing the adopted Plan would help expand direct contacts between the business circles of the EAEU countries and Cuba, launch joint projects, and strengthen economic ties.
By decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Cuba has gained the Observer State status at the EAEU since January 2021.
