EEC and Secretariat of International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation adopt a cooperation program

The signing ceremony of the cooperation program took place at the 24th Plenary Session of the International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), where the Eurasian Economic Commission was represented by Ruslan Davydov, the EEC Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation. The document designed for the period up to 2028 is aimed at organizing assistance for the active development of Trans-Eurasian transport routes.

The main topics of the event included transport connectivity, the interaction of railways and seaports, the simplification of cross-border operations at customs border checkpoints, and the development of transport corridors. The EEC Minister spoke about the development of Eurasian economic integration and promising projects in the customs sector. He particularly emphasized the role of digitalization in the customs sphere, the need for accelerated development of customs infrastructure, and the use of breakthrough technologies and artificial intelligence.

Participants were greatly interested in the information about the start of using navigation seals for tracking road and rail transport across the EAEU, effective since February 11, 2026.

Ruslan Davydov also held a number of working meetings on the forum's sidelines.

During talks with Dr. Abdullah Busenad, Director General of Dubai Customs, and DP World's management team, Ruslan Davydov discussed the implementation of innovative solutions in customs services based on breakthrough technologies. A thorough discussion was held concerning Dubai Customs's experience in implementing the "single window" concept and using advance declaration to expedite and harmonize customs procedures. The participants agreed to intensify contacts and cooperation to facilitate the organization of seamless logistics between the EAEU and the UAE.

At a meeting with Dmitry Maryasin, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation in the area of sustainable transit and increasing the efficiency of foreign trade logistics through the implementation of modern digital solutions.
