EEC participated in discussing cooperation prospects with Mongolia

Vladimir Serpikov, Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Trade Policy Department, took part in the round table "EAEU – Mongolia Cooperation: Current State and Prospects" organized by the Russian International Affairs Council.


The EEC representative touched upon the issues associated with signing the Interim Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia in June 2025 and the expected effects of its implementation, and shared the results and prospects of interaction between the parties' business circles.

"We perceive Mongolia as one of our strategic and priority partners and attach particular importance to expanding trade and economic ties between our countries," Vladimir Serpikov highlighted.

The discussion covered the investment cooperation potential, the experience of promoting Russian – Mongolian cooperation to overcome barriers and Mongolia's role in the system of the EAEU foreign relations.
