EEC urged business associations of EAEU countries to use support mechanism for industrial cooperation more actively

The mechanism for supporting industrial cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union was presented at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for business associations, financial organizations and chambers of commerce and industry of the Eurasian Five countries.

In her speech, Goar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and the Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, noted that the launch of the mechanism for financial support to cooperation projects in the industry has become one of significant achievements at the current stage of integration. She thanked Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and representatives of chambers of commerce and business associations of the Eurasian Economic Union for their constructive participation in the development and promotion of this initiative.

"I urge you to participate even more actively in the practical implementation of the new supranational mechanism, which provides unique possibilities for enterprises of the real sector and is aimed at sustainable development of the industrial potential of our States," Goar Barseghyan addressed the event participants.

Georgy Arzumanyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department, spoke about various aspects of applying the financial support mechanism for industrial cooperation projects. He presented the first projects featuring enterprises from the Union countries supported by the Commission, touching upon the practical issues of preparing applications for subsidies.
