At its November 27 meeting the EEC Advisory Committee on Natural Monopolies reviewed interim results of monitoring the assessment of compliance with the principles established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. The event was chaired by Arzybek Kozhoshev, the EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure.
The monitoring results using quantitative and qualitative indicators will be presented in 2026 for developing proposals and recommendations on further harmonization of legislation in the field of regulating natural monopolies, as well as possible updating of regulatory legal acts of the EAEU Member States.
The meeting participants also agreed on the structure of the report (information) on natural monopolies to be submitted to the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in H1 2026.
