Pursuant to the decision of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board approved the parameters of the anti-dumping measure against graphite electrodes from the People's Republic of China. The rates of the relevant anti-dumping duty introduced for five years are set at 19.92 to 22.51% depending on the manufacturer.
The EEC Board approved the price commitments taken by the company Liaoning Dantan New Materials Co., Ltd.; if they are fulfilled, the anti-dumping duty on the relevant goods will not have to be paid.
These goods will be imported without paying anti-dumping duties within the annual limits established for the Eurasian Economic Union states (outside the price commitments) if their purpose is confirmed.Simultaneously, annual import volumes are set for which anti-dumping duties will not be levied. "The specified volumes will be 700 tons for the Republic of Armenia, 1,000 tons for the Republic of Belarus, and 1,000 tons for the Republic of Kazakhstan," clarified Andrey Slepnev, the EEC Minister in charge of Trade.
