The meeting of the Advisory Committee on Statistics approved the Action Plan for 2025 on implementing the Program of developing integration in the field of statistics of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2021 – 2025 agreed with the Member States, as well as approved the draft Program of the EEC statistical efforts for 2025.
The meeting attendees discussed the draft Program for developing the Eurasian integration in the field of statistics of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2026 – 2030.
They considered the results of comparing the “mirror” data from statistics of mutual trade in goods between the EAEU Member States for 2023 and formed a schedule for bilateral meetings of experts to compare data in 2025.
The meeting discussed the draft collective classification grouping “Intermediate, investment and consumer goods” based on the CN FEA of the EAEU codes, elaborated in accordance with the fifth version of the Classification by Broad Economic Categories, the main purpose of which is to identify product categories for analyzing trade statistics.
The representative of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia made a presentation on the national experience in providing official statistics to the EEC.
The next meeting of the Advisory Committee on Statistics is scheduled for May 2025.
