EIC extended terms for applying certificates of origin for serial products

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council extended the term for applying certificates of origin for serial products up to and including August 1, 2022.

In light of the pandemic, it took longer than expected to amend national legislation and set up information systems. The regulatory provision is required for the Kazakh enterprises to reduce administrative costs. The support provided will enable overcoming the pandemic consequences more quickly. Besides, this measure will enable simplifying mutual trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan with other Union States in goods subject to special circulation conditions related to the WTO commitments.

Certificates for serial products will be issued to the manufacturer and will cover all deliveries of any goods made during this period to other EAEU States. Hence, one will not need to certify each single delivery.

This entails only goods being manufactured in Kazakhstan and intended for transfer to other EAEU countries. The nomenclature of goods to which this regulatory provision applies has been strictly determined. Such products include: carcasses, half-carcasses and meat of cattle, pigs and dunghill hens; fish; cultured yoghurt and other fermented or acidified milk and cream; milk whey; pasta goods.
