The International Conference entitled "Competition Advocacy in industry in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union"

Page ContentOn October 22 in Astana (Kazakhstan), the Eurasian Economic Commission will hold an international conference entitled "Competition Advocacy in industry in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union." The conference will address issues in the sphere of industry in the transboundary markets of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Particular attention will be paid to the commodity markets of metallurgical and food industries, processing of agricultural products, energy and rail transport. The issues of unfair competition and the removal of trade barriers in transboundary markets will also be discussed. The aim of the international conference is to exchange the experience of national authorities, as well as study global best practices and consider current issues in the sphere of industry in the EAEU member states. It is expected that a Memorandum of Understanding between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Government Procurement Service of the Republic of Korea will be signed within the conference. The round table will be held in the Park Inn hotel, 8A, Saryarka Prospect, Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event starts at 10:00. ​
