Gohar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, stressed the importance of the EEC together with the Eurasian Economic Union countries integrating production chains, developing innovative technologies and improving competitiveness of enterprises in the Members States.
It is on these EAEU activities that Gohar Barseghyan focused at the plenary session Greater Eurasian Partnership: Development Vectors and Instruments during the 2nd annual meeting of the New Era — New Ways forum held in Moscow.
Gohar Barseghyan emphasized the importance of joint efforts of the Eurasian Five countries for enabling sustainable economic growth and expanding trade ties in the Eurasian space. According to her, a good example is the launch of the financial support mechanism for industrial cooperation within the EAEU."The Union demonstrates stable progress in implementing strategic goals to develop the industrial and agricultural sectors. Our joint projects contribute not only to strengthening the internal market but also to increasing the EAEU export potential globally," said the EEC Minister.
"Given a successful launch of the mechanism and its practical application in the industrial sector, at the moment the Commission is working on extending it to agriculture," stressed Gohar Barseghyan.
