On August 7, Goar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission held a working meeting at the EEC headquarters with Andrey Kuznetsov, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
The two sides discussed relevant matters of industrial cooperation, preparation of joint events as part of the upcoming INNOPROM international industrial exhibition in Minsk, as well as participation of Belarusian enterprises in industrial cooperation projects.
Goar Barseghyan mentioned the positive nature of cooperation with Belarus on implementing the industry agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union and appreciated the active participation of the country's representatives in the work of the Commission's advisory bodies.
"Regular contacts with the Republic of Belarus in the most important areas of work contribute to deepening cooperation and lay the foundation for new initiatives, technology partnership and expanded mutual trade," the EEC Minister emphasized.
