Goar Barseghyan proposed systemic dialogue between EAEU and BRICS to develop cooperation in industry
On May 15, Goar Barseghyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, spoke at the panel session BRICS and International Institutions: Joining Efforts towards Sustainable Future at the BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum.
The session focused on the integration of the BRICS agenda with those of the EAEU, UNIDO, SCO, ASEAN, Mercosur and other international organizations.
Goar Barseghyan has noted that developing systemic dialogue with the BRICS countries as one of the engines in the new configuration of the global economy is among the main priorities of the Commission.
"With this in mind, I propose to set about establishing a systemic dialogue between the Union with BRICS in order to develop cooperation in the field of industry," the EEC Minister emphasized.
The Forum was attended by heads of international organizations and the business community from more than 30 countries.
