EAEU consumer price index amounted to 100.6% in July compared to June 2023

In July 2023, the consumer price index for goods and services in the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to 100.6% compared to June 2023 and to 103.6% compared to December 2022.

Compared to December, there was a significant increase in prices for paid services (by 6%). During this period, prices for food products increased by 3%, and prices for non-food products grew by 2.6%.

The increase in prices for food products higher than in the EAEU was registered in Kazakhstan (by 5.9%), Kyrgyzstan (by 4.6%), and Belarus (by 3.2%).

The largest increase in prices for non-food products was recorded in Kyrgyzstan (by 6.9%) and Kazakhstan (by 5.9%), for paid services – in Belarus (by 6.2%) and Russia (by 6.1%).
