On December 8, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev in Akorda.

The Head of State heard a report on the main results and priority areas of the EEC's activities.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for further development of the Eurasian Economic Union were discussed.

In particular, the conversation touched upon the Kazakhstan's EAEU 2026 chairmanship priorities.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the course of preparations for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council's meeting scheduled for December 21 in Saint Petersburg.
