President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev received Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The Head of State heard a report on the priority areas of the EEC's activities.

The meeting discussed the current state and prospects for further development of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Kasym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the preparations for the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which will be held on December 26 in St. Petersburg.
