On the proposal of the Republic of Belarus, the EEC Board has extended until December 15, 2022 the possibility for the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic to issue passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment in a unified form approved by the Commission.
The Russian Federation will start issuing only e-passports of this equipment from November 2, 2022. However, any equipment imported from the EAEU States with "paper" passports issued in a unified form can be registered until December 15, 2022.

This measure will enable mitigating the Member States’ multi-speed transition to issuing only e-passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment in the Union.
The EAEU transition to issuing e-passports of self-propelled vehicles will enable creating more favorable conditions for free circulation of self-propelled vehicles in the EAEU single market.
At the same time, implementing this decision adopted by the Commission’s Board will contribute to maintaining stable manufacture of the above types of equipment in the current economic environment and amid measures taken to improve economic stability of the EAEU States, including ensuring macroeconomic stability.
