Amendments to the Customs Union’s Technical Regulations "On safety of railway rolling stock" (TR CU 001/2011), "On safety of high-speed rail transport" (TR CU 002/2011) and "On safety of rail transport infrastructure" (TR CU 003/2011) were made by Decision No. 90 of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council dated September 14, 2021 and come into effect on April 6, 2022.

Establishing the enactment procedure is an interim procedure for gradual transition to new requirements of the technical regulation and conformity assessment documents.

The procedure for making amendments admits the possibility to manufacture and put products into circulation before the expiry of conformity assessment documents issued before April 6, 2022. Besides, products that were not subject to conformity assessment can be put into circulation without relevant documents until April 8, 2024.

Along with that, the products manufactured in accordance with the transitional provisions are allowed to circulate within their entire life cycle.
