Maxim Yermalovich Met with Leadership of Association of European Businesses

Maxim Yermalovich, Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held a working meeting with Tadzio Schilling, CEO of the Association of European Businesses, on November 15 at the EEC headquarters.

Maxim Yermalovich presented the Commission's activities in the field of competition and public procurement, focusing on the issues of improving the Union's regulatory framework in the field of competition, new formats of work to improve the efficiency of detecting and suppressing anti-competitive behavior in cross-border markets, building a direct and constructive dialogue with businesses, improving conditions for mutual access to public procurement of the EAEU countries, analyzing the international cooperation vector of the bloc.

Tadzio Schilling summarized the main activities of the Association of European Businesses.

The parties discussed the results of interaction and outlined promising areas for advancing cooperation.
