Amount of construction in EAEU grew by 9.7% in H1 2023

The amount of construction works performed in the Eurasian Economic Union in January–June 2023 increased by 9.7% compared to the same period last year and totaled RUB 6.3 trillion.

An increase was observed in all the EAEU countries: by 48.9% in Armenia, by 12.1% in Belarus, by 12.3% in Kazakhstan, by 22.9% in Kyrgyzstan, by 9.2% in Russia.

 

In January–June 2023, 0.3% more accommodation was commissioned across the EAEU than in the relevant period of 2022. Notably, growth was observed in Armenia (by 72.2%) and Kazakhstan (by 11.8%). In total, the EAEU commissioned 61.9 mln square meters of housing.
