List of standards to technical regulations on safety of machinery and equipment updated
The Eurasian Economic Commission's Board approved amendments to the list of standards to the Customs Union's Technical Regulations “On safety of machinery and equipment”, which ensure the implementation of amendments to these technical regulation.
This entails the amendments establishing the possibility of using natural gas motor fuel to power the engines of self-propelled vehicles.
The list of standards includes four interstate standards and UN regulations establishing requirements to machinery and equipment using gas as a motor fuel.
Amendments to the list of standards will come into effect on November 23 this year simultaneously with the amendments to the technical regulation and will make it possible to produce and manufacture self-propelled vehicles that use gas as a fuel.
