At its June 24 meeting, the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board approved amendments to the lists of standards to the technical regulations of the Union "On Safety of Railway Rolling Stock", "On Safety of High-Speed Rail Transport" and "On Safety of Rail Transport Infrastructure".

Some provisions of the lists were clarified and detailed, with editorial and technical inaccuracies eliminated. This contributes to the establishment of a uniform practice of implementing technical regulations in the railway sector by all stakeholders: manufacturers of rail transport, conformity assessment bodies and testing laboratories carrying out conformity assessment with the requirements of the EAEU technical regulations.

The adopted amendments will come into effect after 30 calendar days have elapsed from the date of official publication of the decision by the EEC Board and will apply to legal relations arising from January 15, 2025.
