The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board updated the lists of standards to the Union's technical regulations in the field of railway transport safety. The lists of standards were updated amid adopting a revised version of technical regulations for rail transport to be enacted on April 6, 2022.

The updated lists of standards have been elaborated by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation jointly with the public authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union countries involving experts and business community representatives.

A transitional period has been established for certain interstate and national standards, including to adapt to their application and accredit conformity assessment bodies.

The EEC Board’s decision will come into effect in 10 days to apply new standards in conjunction with updated versions of technical regulations as soon as possible.
