The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has decided to amend the Procedure for Completing Goods Declarations.
Currently, Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs) can store goods on their premises under the customs warehouse procedure.
According to the adopted amendments, when filling out the declaration you should indicate information about the location of the goods. Should any company apply a special simplification, it must complete information on the document confirming the creation of a customs control zone at the AEO site, or the registration number of such a zone.
Providing this information in the declaration will allow customs administration to receive the necessary information automatically, without sending additional requests. As a result, customs control is optimized and business costs are reduced.
The Authorized Economic Operator concept is an internationally recognized standard of the partner program, and the AEO is a specially designated juridical person granted with simplifications during customs operations and customs control as persons meeting specified requirements.
An additional special simplification for the authorized economic operator was approved by Decision No. 86 of the Council of the Commission dated October 18, 2024.
