Statistics compendium on EAEU countries' demography published

The Eurasian Economic Commission has published a statistics compendium "Demography in Figures. EAEU Statistics". It is published every two years.

The compendium presents the main indicators characterizing the demographic situation in the Eurasian Economic Union States for 2018 – 2022: population size, natural population changes and migratory movements.

For example, the EAEU population at early 2023 amounted to 185.4 mln people, and the population density ranged from 7.3 people per 1 sq. km in Kazakhstan to 100.1 people per 1 sq. km in Armenia.

The average age of the population ranged from 28 years in Kyrgyzstan to 41 years in Belarus. On average, 46.9% of men and 53.1% of women live in the EAEU, while Kyrgyzstan has the smallest dispersion: 49.5% of men and 50.5% of women.

More detailed information has been provided on the EEC Statistics Department's webpage in the “Population and Migration” section.
