The upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on May 28-29 in Astana. The events will be attended by the Heads of the EAEU Member States, Observer States at the Union, as well as invited honored guests.

The agenda of the Supreme Council's meeting, which will traditionally take place in both limited and expanded formats, covers a wide range of trade and economic cooperation issues.

One of the key issues on the agenda of Kazakhstan’s presidency in the EAEU is the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the monitoring of trade barriers, to analyze compliance with arrangements, and to enhance the transparency of economic processes within the EAEU.

Given this priority area, the topic of the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum will be: “The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence.”

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites foreign media representatives to obtain accreditation to cover these events.

In order to obtain accreditation for foreign media representatives, a list of journalists must be submitted by May 22, 2026, 6:00 p.m. Astana time, using the attached form, to the following email address: mfakzaccreditation@gmail.com.

 

Press centers for media representatives will be set up at the events listed above.

Foreign media representatives accredited to cover the Eurasian Economic Forum must arrive at the Congress Center (EXPO Business Complex) on May 28, 2026. The events of the Forum's business programme will begin at 9:00 a.m.
