The upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on May 28-29 in Astana. The events will be attended by the Heads of the EAEU Member States, Observer States at the Union, as well as invited honored guests.
The agenda of the Supreme Council's meeting, which will traditionally take place in both limited and expanded formats, covers a wide range of trade and economic cooperation issues.
One of the key issues on the agenda of Kazakhstan’s presidency in the EAEU is the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the monitoring of trade barriers, to analyze compliance with arrangements, and to enhance the transparency of economic processes within the EAEU.
Given this priority area, the topic of the upcoming Eurasian Economic Forum will be: “The EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence.”
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites foreign media representatives to obtain accreditation to cover these events.
