Rules for Filling Out Express Cargo Declarations Gradually Unified
19.08.2025

On August 19, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission amended the procedure for filling out express cargo declarations aimed at further unification of submitted information.

Information on the placement of goods for temporary storage will have to be indicated in all EAEU states, whereas now it is provided only in three countries of the Union. That will automate customs operations related to temporary storage and declaration.

The approved amendments will also allow declaring information on complying with the currency legislation of the EAEU countries so that foreign traders do not have to submit it separately and can positively affect the duration of customs operations.

Decision No. 142 of the EEC Board dated August 28, 2018 approved the form and procedure for filling out declarations for express cargo goods that is used in customs declaration of goods moved by express carriers in trade turnover.
