Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board, conveyed his greetings on the Eurasian Economic Union Day.

This holiday, established in 2022 by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, is dedicated to signing the Treaty on the EAEU on May 29, 2014.

Over the past 12 years, a successful integration model of multilateral cooperation has been built, the strength and viability of the economic union has been ensured, and its development continues with account for contemporary global trends.

An important area of ​​cooperation among the Eurasian "five" countries has become the application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the economy. 

“The future of the EAEU is not just digital transformation. It contemplates developing the intellectual and technological potential of our countries, strengthening the Union's position in the global digital architecture," the Head of the EEC Board stressed. 

Even now, according to Bakytzhan Sagintayev, the Eurasian Economic Union can already be called a pole of economic attraction of global significance.
