Within the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting on October 1 in Yerevan, an official ceremony of stamp cancellation on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of signing the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union was held with the participation of the Heads of Government of the EAEU Member States.
The ceremony was attended by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Oljas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Zhaparov, Head of the Executive Office of the President — Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
It bears reminding that the first launch of special Eurasian postage stamps with the participation of Heads of Government of the Union states took place in 2015 and was dedicated to signing of the Treaty on the EAEU. The second, 2019 edition, was dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union. The third, in 2022, was timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Thus, the 2024 launch is the fourth.
