Recommendation on comparative list of property valuation objects adopted

At its meeting held on December 14, the Eurasian Economic Commission's Council adopted a recommendation on a comparative list of property valuation objects.

The comparative list includes property valuation objects with indication of permits granting the right to conduct a property valuation

of relevant objects in each Member State of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The EEC Council's recommendation will make it possible to consider changes in the EAEU States' legislation in the field of valuation activities in a prompt manner.

It bears reminding that in accordance with Decision No. 19 of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated December 11, 2020, the valuation services sector will enter into the single market for services since January 1, 2025, subject to the comparative list approval.

It is planned that the Heads of the EAEU States will approve the final list by the early functioning of the common market for property valuation services within the General approaches to the conditions for implementing valuation activities.

The names of the object property differ in the EAEU Member States, and the list will allow appraisers to compare their permits with permits in force in other Member States, and will be an additional tool to prevent violations of the rules of the common market of services and to control appraisers from other Union countries.

   For reference

General approaches to the conditions for implementing valuation activities as part of the CMS functioning were approved by Decision No. 23 of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council dated December 10, 2021 and are mandatory for implementing into the EAEU countries' legislation in the field of valuation activities.
