Transition periods of technical regulations for oil and gas extended
The deadlines for transitional provisions of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Technical Regulations "On safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use" and "On safety of natural fuel gas prepared for transportation and (or) use" have been extended until January 1, 2025.
Conforming amendments were made to the EEC Board’s relevant decisions dated March 6, 2018 and March 19, 2019 as part of implementing the List of measures to improve economic stability of the EAEU States, including ensuring macroeconomic stability, approved by the Disposition of the EEC Council dated March 17, 2022.

The specified deadline was brought into line with the start date of the common markets for gas, oil and petroleum products as well.
